Hope by Ron Warford, 40' x 30 " Graphite on Black Board, Framed
Mr. Warford's work was selected by the Smithsonian Institution for a national traveling exhibition in 1973. He was one of the initial founding and teaching members at the Folk Art Gallery in Syracuse. His work spings from his imagination and is masterfully executed. Home is Where the Hearth Is by Jaws. This piece took 600 hours. Amazingly, to produce this the artist had to put the snowflakes in first on a white fine piece of paper and then build everything around it. Think about it - this amazing work, and other pieces of the artists work can be seen at CNY Artists Gallery, which purchased this piece in 2013.

About the Artist :
A self educated originator and manipulator of the creative forces.
Windwalker is stimulated by the risk to experiment with different mediums and techniques,
searching to discover a new expression in art.
As a result of this genius, he has created a process and technique to best satisfy his creative vision
and express his inner Awareness /Consciousness.
He calls this process:
Abstract Consciousness In Development 
His primary medium is acrylic on glass, but other materials are also employed (canvas, wood, paper).
Although painting on glass is not a new art form.
Windwalker has reinvented it, in terms of visual distinctive character, thus creating an exclusively new form of art that is multi-dimensional using a 2-dimensional medium and physics.
Reverse Glass Painting is an art form consisting of applying paint to glass and then viewing the image by turning the glass over and looking at the image.
Realistic reverse paintings are more challenging to create as one must, for example, in painting a face, to put the pupil of an eye on the glass before the iris, exactly the opposite of normal painting. If this is neglected the artist will not be able to correct the error as he will not get in between the glass and the paint already applied.
